Makeup skills, taught without shortcuts
Kasinyaus builds foundational makeup knowledge for people who want to understand what they are doing and why - not just follow steps they will forget by next week.
How Kasinyaus came together
The idea started at Wellness on York in Launceston - a space where practitioners already understood that learning physical skills takes repetition, feedback, and honest instruction. Makeup education online had a gap: plenty of inspiration, not enough explanation.
Kasinyaus was built in 2025 to fill that gap. The curriculum focuses on techniques that transfer across different face shapes, skin tones, and lighting conditions - the kind of knowledge that makes someone genuinely adaptable rather than dependent on one tutorial style.
What the curriculum covers
Skin preparation
Primer selection, moisturiser timing, and understanding how skin type changes the behaviour of every product applied on top.
Colour theory in practice
Not abstract theory - specific decisions about undertones, correctors, and how lighting shifts the way colour reads on camera versus in person.
Blending and placement
Where product goes matters as much as which product. Modules cover placement logic for eye, cheek, and contour work across varied face structures.
Two ways to learn makeup
